winter solstice
Surprise! A Sunday newsletter! Happy winter solstice my southern hemisphere friends (happy summer solstice to those in the north)
Even the skull has been co-opted.

And here are next week's skulls.

Yes. I am trying to manifest a nine inch nails southern hemisphere tour. Yes I know it's unlikely. Hush. Let me dream.
The winter solstice is a time of reflection for me. And figuring out what I want the future to be.
My dad and myself will (hopefully) be at the Dark Arts market on the 3rd October at the old Geelong jail. Still waiting on some paperwork to come through.
I am on the wait list for Coburg and one of the rose st markets. I'm also started work for rose street's reble heart exhibition. And I'm waiting for suitcase rummage dates to drop. Hopefully it won't rain…
And I attempted to launch an online store: https://onesmallduck.bigcartel.com
I attempted to put badges on there but it doesn't look like it worked. Need to play around with it more.
I am also trying to print out my letter of registration. Without a new job. If I'm honest (and completely blunt) I'm shitting myself. I'm going to basically not have an income.
But staying where I am has stagnated things. And the only way out is, well out…
There was a moment this morning before heading to the rink there was a thing about burn out. And I ticketed every box hahaha.
So. I go.
But before I leave you tonight I shall leave you with this on this long solstice night:
A Wish For The Longest Night.
Good night and fair well to the year that was.
Hello to the year that will be.
May we remember the past that was with learning and truth, not with rose tinted yearning and regret.
May the memories of those lost to us be good and guide us to better days.
May we greet the new year with hope and resolve to do better and be more.
May we raise against what holds us down, and with gentle hands pull up those behind up to meet us.
May the year be fruitful, full of joy and meaning.
So above, as so below, so mo it be.
