Hello friends. We have much to cover. But first (as always) skull.

Yes. I am being a pathetic little nerd and am try to manifest a nine inch nails southern hemisphere tour with the power of The Skull. Shhh. Let me dream.

Anyway.

The big news, is i finally put my 2 weeks notice at the day job. I have mixed feelings to be honest. Mostly money related as I keep seeing bands and music festivals pop up and I now won't have an adequate income to go to any of them.

Self inflicted. No sympathy.

Regardless. I hustle.

Some good news: I have markets scheduled!

I'll be at Coburg Artist market Sunday 26th July. I'll be upstairs so if you can come and visit (preferably with caffeine….lol….)please do.

And…

The Dark Arts festival at the Old Geelong Gaol, 3rd October.

I have not been to either. But I hope it gives me a good run leading into next year. I can't believe I'm even thinking about next year already….

I'm keeping an eye out for more markets, there were 2 more I was going to apply for this morning but unfortunately the stall fees were over $300 and I don't have that kind of cash on me.

Thanks to the trains shitting themselves yet again i got this finally finished. I'll try to drop it off at penny (cafe) in docklands tomorrow.

My Muse decided it would be be a good idea to smack me with the mallet of creativity while I was trying to leave the house for work the other day. Spent the next three days highly irritated because I had no time to itch the creativity scratch. For some reason my muse looks something crossed between tuxedo mask (sailor moon) and hawkeye pierce (mash) with giant bird/angel wings. Much like hawkeye he spends most of time sleeping (thus being only clothed in pyjama pants) and claims to have be helpful but not doing much of anything, much like tuxedo mask. Hm. I guess that explains more that it doesn't. Let's avoid getting too froid on that…

What have I been enjoying?

Well.

I'm doing some light whittling on these discs which will become necklaces for the above mentioned markets.

Also

I'm listening to Type O Negative's box set. I struggle a little with the first two albums, but bloody kisses onwards have got me hooked. Their fourth album: October rust really resonated. I'm kind of glad I'm late to the party because if I had of listened to it between the ages of 16 and 25 it would have become my entire personality lol.

Finally got volume 3 of the hellsing omnibus. Not reading it just yet. Saving it for a bit later in the year.

I am reading Monstress. It dumps you straight into a revenge plot with no back story. I can't figure out if I like the main character or not yet.

However.

The art work is epically beautiful and I want to run my hand over it. (Sorry, got a bit weird there)

As well as the frenzel rhomb album in the picture above is on my to listen to pile so to is this pretty little hellion.

I might pop it on later if I get a chance.

My main aim for the rest of the afternoon is sanding up the discs, more badges and designing some stickers. Maybe they will be skull themed.

So no rest for the wicked. There's much to do and less time to do it in.
