to face all your demons you've got to free them...

Hello good people of the newsletter both old and new.

Beneath there are skulls for you.

I haven't drawn cats in a long time. They turned out better than expected. Which is nice.

Market updates:

• I'm confirmed for Coburg Makers Market on Sunday 13th September and Saturday 24th October

• was rejected for the make comic festival. I'm disappointed but it makes me want to get my portfolio up to scratch.

• have applied for city book fair (26th September), hallozeen (26th October), and Healesville (31st October) the enchanted market (i can't remember dates) need to find some markets for November and December.

Zine updates!

The 6th, and at this stage, final Sammy Doom the dancing demon is now finished and awaiting printing!

I am slowly making progress on fog zine. It now has some rather unfortunate protagonists.

There is also now a skull has lots of hats: Halloween edition, longing for the warm embrace of the sticky institute's photocopier.

Sorry. That got weird…

I maybe working on bonus posters for the inside…

I'm attempting to plot an exhibition for next year. Something to work on after all the zines. More on that later when I think the concept is solid enough (underway coughs )

I got a lovely surprise letter from the super amazing Emily N3ver!

Look it!! AHHHHH!

I'm so framing the prints. Go support Emily N3ver!

What i have been listening to:

On bandcamp- man is not a camel by frenzel rhomb. An oldie but a goodie. Peak frenzel irreverent humour.

Gabagool ep by Stjep. Political, fast and rather punk. Too short, need more Excellent.

Times new Roman by queens of the stone age. I struggled a little with it when it first came out. It sounded a little same same, but listening to it on the train has some more of the lyrics seeping into my brain a little bit more.

No one saw it coming by marc fennel on the ABC listen app continues to be a highlight of my week.

Watched:TV.

Season 3 of stuff the British stoll. Fascinating as always (yes I am a low key marc fennel fangirl. Shut up)

Movie: Jupiter ascending. Cliche YA. The sound engineering was terrible. And the lighting. Chosen one nonsense. It was bland. I really can't figure out what made people think it was underrated.

Today I went to the Melbourne museum for the Rome exhibition. It was good. I loved looking at all the marble sculptures. We also swung past my most beloved triceratops fossil.

Costa from gardening Australia was at the rainforest exhibition but I was too chicken to say hello.

Also updated my pined posts with the newsletter. So hopefully that helps to get me off line and on to art.

Wow. This got long.

Sorry about that.

I shall try to tighten things up a bit for the next newsletter.

Anyway. The zines and skulls won't draw themselves.

Takecare and we shall talk next time.
