every day I'm shuffling...
It's been a week hey.

My humble tributes to two legends. They'll go up on various social media next week. But for now they rest here.
I'm not overly fond of country music, but I've always had a measure of respect for dolly Parton. Her song 9 to 5 has to be up there as one of the greatest working class anthems of all time. The cheeto in charge having the flags at half mast would have to be one of the shallowest tributes ever considering he cut funding to Dolly's imagination library. If you can spare some cash please try to donate a little to one of her meny charities. Or go help out at local one. It's what she would have wanted and far better tribute.
Instead of wallowing in grief I'm trying to think of ways to help. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
The other blow of the week is the loss of Tim Curry. The Rocky Horror picture show was the first musical I ever liked having felt like I suffered through Disney, Shirley temple and Elvis movies rocky horror felt like a revelation. Tim curry when he first walks on screen was completely magnetic. My ten year old eye balls had never seen such a thing. It would be another 5 year before I started getting into David Bowie, which I was delighted to find out the same make up artist who did Franken-furter's make up also did ziggy star dust. He is also is an honorary Muppet. Which is one those peak of anything I can think of (I love Jim henson). You could probably spend a solid couple of weeks watching everything he was in. And much like Bowie, everyone has their tim Curry moment.
August always tends to find a way to suck. But its nearly over. Unfortunately it means we're about to be bitch slapped by the end of the year.

Volume 6 of Sammy doom has been printed, cut and stapled. Now we just wait for weather or not I get into Hallowzeen.

I've also got some zines printed up for g- zines vending machine. I'm just waiting for a drop off time and place.
Sadly was rejected for rens fantasy market but I'm on the wait list.
Its just a lot of waiting at the moment.
Will be try to find more markets before my money runs out.
Coming up soon.

I'll be at the Coburg Makers Market on the Sunday. I'm seeing Frenzel Rhomb on the Saturday beforehand. I don't drink but I don't bounce back like I use to. If you see me and I look out of it you know why (send help and caffeine lol. I'll take a mocca *wink wink)
Next week I'll be full throttle into making things for that Sunday. Including try to get my set up a bit more functional.

So wish me luck there.
Speaking of hallozeen (because it continues to plauge my tiny mind) I am half way through ‘fog ‘ zine. All the lettering is done and I'm on the home stretch. I want to ideally have it finished for the zine swap. Maybe. Maybe I should but the Halloween themed today's skull in the zine swap instead…hmmm…
I'm getting out of here. There's much to do and less time to do it in.
Go out and do some good in the world and do it as audaciously as possible.
See you next week xx
