October Rust

Hello good people of the newsletter.

The time of skull is nigh.

I'm slowly puttering through my to do list. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get around to finding my comic notes. Which is starting to annoy me.

The upside is I got some pendants ready for Coburg Makers Market on the 24th.

I'm getting a bit of reminder of why I stopped making wire wrapped jewellery. Because I can only get one type of wire it ended up feeling a bit tedious and repetitive.

The Gold lion is taken from one of the jousters at kryle castle. I like the idea of making coats of arms as jewellery.

Other things!

Artist proofs of the lino cut blocks (?) I've been working on.

Momento mori.

Wolf moon.

I also attempted some badges.lest then great results on printer paper.

Unfortunately 210gsm sketch paper is way too thick for the badge press.

Not sure what I'm going do with the rest. Art cards? Maybe.

I've go a couple more lino plates to play around with so hopefully I can come up with more.

I also got approved for the district Makers Market at docklands on the 29th of November.

Market list is now:

Coburg Makers Market 24t October.

Hellozine 25th October.

Healesvillezine fair 31st October.

Docklands Makers Market 29th November.

Ideally I'd like to get another Market in-between Healesville and Docklands. But its been tricky. On the other hand it leaves me a bit of time to apply for art prizes and work on the comic.

If I can get some fingerless gloves and skate soakers made I might try and get a little stall at one of the upcoming skating competitions. Which would hopefully see me out until next year.

I'm still waiting on a few things to come through. So until then I'm going to try and get some other things done. Hopefully the comics. Maybe a website if I don't loose my temper at the laptop again.

So off I go. See you all next week.
