In 2019, the Archdiocese of Saint-Boniface decreed that the Ave Maria Grotto in St-Malo would henceforth be
the diocesan Marian shrine and site of the annual diocesan pilgrimage.
If you have visited the grotto recently, you may have noticed increased activity and infrastructure improvements.
The St. Malo Parish and the Ave Maria Diocesan Committee are raising funds to improve accessibility, add seating,
build universal washrooms, repair existing infrastructure, add new elements, and create a one-million-dollar perpetual fund to ensure long-term maintenance of the grotto. Their goal is to raise $1,145,000.00 and They are officially launching the Ave Maria Grotto fundraising campaign.
