I've been thinking about how that particular question I posed is likely most impactful for self-employed folks, or anyone who works a non-salaried job where more time worked = more money earned. Gap year has really, really hit this home for me, wherein I'm now looking at my budget, and at what I want/don't want to add back into my job in 2026, and I'm so clearly seeing this connection in a way I haven't before.
