Haha I welcome and appreciate this bratty energy, Sara, because I feel it too! I'm like, look, if someone likes their job or is proud of it or interested by it and wants to talk about it, great! I'm totally happy to listen and ask questions and get to know them that way. But, like you, I find myself more naturally curious about and drawn to the many other aspects of people's lives outside of their paid work. The way capitalist culture has flattened so much of being human into our job titles is truly bonkers.
