New Terms & Conditions

New Terms & Conditions is a newsletter of Citation Studio, a Black feminist experimental thinking studio founded by artist and cyber anthropologist Ravon Ruffin Feliz.

Each issue of New Terms & Conditions is a “glossary entry, manifesto, and poetic utterance” (to loosely quote Saidiya Hartman). New Terms & Conditions takes an imaginative look at computing terms, from hardware to software, electronic colonialism, and technologies of care.

These explorations are building on and inspiring the creation of an Anti-colonial Black feminist Critical Media Ecology (abc), a framework and glossary for a future of tech rooted in joy, collective care, and environmental justice.
