Dear friend,

We hope that all our members and supporters are safe and well in this very trying time.  We are all dealing with an unprecedented situation with much of the future still unknown.  We hope you and those around you are taking the necessary precautions to stay safe.

In this context it is difficult, if not impossible, to know what the conditions or permitted activities will be this coming fall. So much is still unknown regarding future travel and meeting restrictions that to assume we will not be affected is probably short-sighted.  The DoubleTree hotel that we use for the conference is currently closed with a potential for re-opening in June.    

 As a result, we are postponing the opening of registration for the upcoming Yankee Gathering currently scheduled for this November.  We are in the process of evaluating the situation and will be making a decision in the very near future as to the fate of this year’s Yankee Gathering.   We strongly suggest that you hold off making any travel and hotel reservations until you hear definitively from us regarding the conference.  If you have already made reservations, you may want to contact the hotel and/or airlines to see their policies should we need to postpone or cancel the conference.

We will do our best to keep you informed as to any changes to the conference.  Please check here and the NEMCA website (www.nemca.com) for further updates.
