Thinking Too Hard 🤔

Viget26 happened last week. In no particular order, here are a few things that happened:

• Played a multi-day connection collection game with custom and personalized 3D printed ID badges with hidden items scattered through out the event. (Hard to describe!)
• Did some speculative pitching on project work in 2036.
• Floated down the French Broad river.
• Ate too much at every meal (entirely my own fault).
• Heard some of the sweetest and most genuine toasts from this amazing group of people I get to work with.
• Drank liquid truffle.
• Talked about the state and health of the company.
• Was offered by a random stranger to meet a snake (I declined).
• Met baby goats (I accepted).
• Shot a bow and arrow like a regular 'ole Robin Hood (we'll ignore how most of the arrows missed the target).
• Learned about several recent projects in depth.
• Co-presented the project I've been working on for the last several months.
• Clapped until my hands hurt.
• Hung out with a really great group of folks!

I said last year, but I'll say it again this year: real connections feel increasingly harder to form. It takes real effort and intention to create a space where real connection can happen, and I'm thankful that Viget takes that challenge so seriously!
