Pocket PMs and the ShadowRealm

Hey friends,

I tried to organize a time management seminar...

but it took too long to schedule. ⏳🫠

Thinking Too Hard 🤔

I've been thinking a lot about spec-driven development lately.

Even if you plan to do all the development yourself, there are several benefits that come with creating a detailed spec for a project.

The spec can act like your own personal pocket project manager. We're creating a plan, after all, complete with all the details that take quite a bit of time to write. These make great seeds for tickets and documentation, and can help expose an optimal build order.

The spec makes your agent a better code reviewer and question base. As you develop, the agent can tell you if you've deviated from the plan, forgotten a detail, or answer questions about new feature with the full plan still in context. Between your spec and your code, the agent seems more consistent across sessions.

I encourage y'all to give the technique a try, even if you're not planning to turn the agent loose!
