Google Translate is Sexist, here's how we fix it

Just a short email from me today. This week I'm trialling something different: I've written up the script for my upcoming video as a blog post, and am sharing it with you early!

Google Translate is biased

I'll add a link to the video at the start of the post once it's live.

The post looks at how Google Translate defaults to stereotypical translations, and dives into some of the latest research that looks at mitigating bias. Spoiler alert: I think Google Translate's current approach is just a temporary fix.
