I am voting uncommitted

Minnesota has presidential primaries tomorrow, and I am following the lead of activists in Michigan and voting uncommitted.

I am keeping this short because Primary Day is tomorrow in a handful of states so this just needs to get out. I have been horrified to hear the daily updates of everything in Gaza, where the news tells me that the situation "is getting more dire" for actual months now. How much more dire can things get? I have continually felt like even though there is little I can do, I am somehow doing even less that I could. My peace-loving heart is more than frustrated at how many billions and trillions of our collective tax dollars goes toward war, especially when I and many others have dreams of what could be done with this money instead.

Voting often seems meaningless but I do it anyway, and tomorrow I'll do it with a purpose - to send a message to our sitting president that every day we wait for a ceasefire is a day that more lives will be lost.

Love you.
