Sometimes you play too hard… like me this past weekend, jumping around the forests of the Catskill Mountains like a woodland mouse, until I landed upon unstable ground and sprained my ankle. Now I’m stuck at home, sedentary, an uncomfortable feeling for me. Trying to keep from dreaming too hard about the day when I can run and do yoga and wander through the park again, I’ve devoted some of my cooped-up energy into this bulletin, to share with you some of the exciting gatherings to come, even if I might not be able to make them all.

🌕 Creature Emergence at Luminescence (Hunter's Point Park): Full Moon (Sun May 31 @ 7pm). It’s the Blue Moon — second full moon of May — and I am so excited for this moon ritual combined with participatory performance. bring any forlorn tech with you: the laptops, iPhones, or other technological beings that no longer turn on but still occupy space in your life. Ritual begins at 7:30 — don't be late, and be ready to greet the creature… who will you become, under the rising blue moon..? Free.

🌖 Elemental: Earth in Prospect Park: Waning Gibbous (Mon June 2 @ 6pm). Kayla and Miranda are birthing this amazing series of element-inspired gatherings — great food, great crafts, and surely great new friends. first one is earth, on June 2, with others to come June 11, 20, 28. $55.

🌖 Fractal Convalescence: Balancing Technological Acid Opening at Studio Dem: Waning Gibbous (Sat June 6 @ 7:30pm). Olivia is curating this magical show about fractal convalescence, in which I will be showing a large creaturely altar to the data center… more to come <3. Free.

🌗 Pop-Up Cafe: Berry Edition at Prospect Park: Last Quarter (Sun June 7 @ 1pm). We're back with another array of delicious treats, this time in Prospect Park and full of berries to celebrate the start of strawberry season. YUM! Free.

🌘 The Party at School of Radical Attention: Waning Crescent (Thu June 11, 18, 25). I am teaching this seminar about parties starting June 11 — building the case intellectually and in practice for the party as a radical art form.
