Novel Observations

Here, you'll find occasional books and film criticism, industry analysis, and awards and prize commentary. As a disabled and chronically ill person, I don't often have the energy to write or organize pitches, but I read a lot of old and new books (and even watch a film or two), and sometimes want to bring attention to an underlooked new release or hidden classic, or highlight a troubling element of a buzzy title.

This newsletter may also feature the occasional about disability and medical issues, and if I do have pieces in other publications, I'll share them here.
