I just grabbed A Perfect Vintage at the library too, Nina! I don't really know anything about her - maybe I just dig in and learn something :-) As for Carley, you 100% don't have to like her ... we all have different tastes! My favorite book of hers was last summer's book since I'm a sucker for anything even remotely related to Anne of Green Gables ... I was helpless for that one. And yes ~ Madison is amazing and I'm so happy I get to visit more often!
