merton simple, merton blend (and sliced bread)

Dear bread friends

One new post on the Merton blog: sliced bread, on Otto Rohwedder and the 1928 invention that the baking industry thought was impossible.

I'll be fermenting Merton Simple and Merton Blend loaves on Saturday, and then baking them early Sunday 21 June. If you'd like a loaf, please get in touch by Thursday 18 June at 1pm. Collect from Earlsdon on Sunday morning.
