improv for therapists + mercury monthly

So the headline here is the new Improv for Therapists class starting November 2nd. My friend Jill (a therapist) floated this idea to me after taking Improv for Introverts and noticing how much of it overlaps with what therapists do. (I guess this is where I should mention that improv is in no way a substitute for therapy … but yeah, there’s a lot of overlap.) I’m very excited about this and I really hope it becomes a regular thing.
Speaking of regular things, the return of Mercury Monthly was an off-the-charts success thanks to the amazing crew that showed up. Man, it is so much fun to see people from different classes meet each other and play together for the first time. The current plan is to bounce it back and forth between locations, so the next one will be on November 12th at the South outpost. If you’ve taken Improv for Introverts, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
And if you haven’t taken Improv for Introverts, it’s time to correct this grievous lack in your life. Conveniently, the last sessions of the year are starting in a couple of weeks at both the North and South locations, so there’s really no excuse not to, is there?
Okay! Please tell your therapist friends about Improv for Therapists, and otherwise I hope to see you in class soon!
Till then,
John
