Bowker Creek Biodiversity day
Hello, friends! I hope you had a wonderful summer. Orchestra season has just started for me, and while my next concert with a symphony orchestra isn’t for another couple of months, I’m doing something a little different in just over a week: a community festival to celebrate Bowker Creek!
I’ll be there on the fiddle as a guest of the Bald Eagles, who are long-time friends of Bowker Creek, at Bowker Creek Biodiversity Day. While the part that I’ll be playing in this day is pretty small, I’d encourage you to come out to have a listen, and while you’re there you can learn about the creek, do some crafts, have some ice cream, and even visit Eldan who will be there to tell people about how we know how the creek is doing.
This is a free event at LANSDOWNE SOUTH CAMPUS (Entry from Newton St. off of Richmond Rd.) on Sunday, SEPTEMBER 22 2024, from 1:00-4:00 pm. I believe that I’ll be playing at 1:30 or 2, and you can read more about the whole event here.
As always, thanks for listening, and I hope to see you at the creek!
