Hello friends! Time has flown by since my previous letter, and now it's that time in the rehearsal cycle for a musical when I get into...
Actually, it's pretty nice in there. The band is only about 15 people, and it's not very deep, so I get a good view of the stage. Here's a pit selfie from last night:
Last night, for the first time, I got to:
- see everyone in costume
- hear all the dialogue, so now I have more of a clue as to what the plot is
- learn that there is A DOG in this musical and that its role was brilliantly cast for this production. The dog is apparently completely deaf, which is why it's able to remain calm at all on a stage with all of this stuff going on. I'm hoping to pet the dog tonight.
Anyway, if you are interested in coming and you don't have tickets yet, you can get them
here. Again, it's at the
Shoreline Community College Theater, at the end of the #5 bus line. And please do lean over the pit rail and say hi! The best time to find me is near the end of intermission or directly after the show if you hustle to the front.
