Reflections on the Moon
Why the moon? If we ask that, it may bring to mind how many peoples and cultures have revered the moon in some way, along with a lot of other celestial bodies. No attempt to explain that here. I do bring you some thoughts about the moon, for fun.
The moon’s faces are like moods. The moon is different each night from the night before, and the night after. But it’s also the same moon every night.
The moon is dialectical. The moon reflects the light of the sun, but its light is clearly not daylight. There’s a reason we differentiate between sunlight and moonlight, even though they’re technically the same light.
The moon is weak and strong. Even the light of the full moon doesn’t shine that brightly, yet the full moon seems to have mysterious effects on the behavior of people and animals. What’s being illuminated, here? Maybe this is why the moon and magic are culturally related.
The moon is trans. Actually, I don’t know this for sure. Consider this speculation. Or maybe a wish.
Moon-approved. All of my writing is blessed by at least one transsexual moon goddess. Reading it means you will be, too!
Wish upon the moon. The next time you see the moon, regardless of its fullness, take a moment to make a little wish. I think someone will hear you, and take that wish pretty seriously. I would.
Maybe make a little wish right now. You don’t have to tell anyone. ;)
Thanks for reading.
The Gorgeous Moon is watching over you.
