🥏 Week 2 (week of 3/2) — first game this week!
Hi all,
Game week is here! Here's what you need to know heading into this week.
🏃 Practice This Week
Practices continue Monday and Friday after school, 3:55–5:30 at the Madison field. Show up ready to work — activation decisions are made based on what we see at practice!
💻 Player Portal — Now Live!
The player portal is up and running. Please use it to submit your availability for both practices and games:
You can also add notes — coaches will see them, and more communication is always better than less. If you run into any problems, email us at [email protected].
Learn more about the Player Portal here.
🏟️ First Game — This Saturday, 3/7!
Our first regular season game is Saturday, March 7th. We should know more details (time and location) Monday evening, which we'll post to the portal and team calendar once DiscNW confirms.
🎯 Activation Status — Who Plays Saturday?
Not all players will be activated for each game. We'll take a subset of Bx and Gx players per game based on effort, demonstrated abilities, team values, and practice attendance.
We'll send out an email after practice on Wednesday, 3/4 with who is activated for this Saturday's game, based on how practice goes this week. Players can also check their status in the Player Portal once it's set.
Learn more about how activation works.
📋 DiscNW Registration — Please Do This This Week!
If you haven't registered with DiscNW yet, please do so this week. This is required for all players — you cannot play in games without it. You can find registration instructions here.
🐕🦺 Behind The Scenes Help
Thank you to the parents who have offered to help in various ways, including with jerseys. Nova’s mom, Kelly Alleen-Willems, will help with reachouts directly for specifics that are needed.
👕 Jerseys
We'll be handing out existing jerseys by the end of the week. More details to come — stay tuned!
As always, reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
Let's have a great week!
