April Updates

April was a refinement month for Lunar Prototypes: fewer forced releases, more time spent improving designs, testing ideas, and cleaning up the customizer workflow.

New and Updated Designs

• LinkStow Modular Drawers – Customizable, modular storage designed to fit the space you actually have.
• TPU Watch Band Keeper – A simple flexible replacement part for broken or missing watch strap keepers.
• Seed Starter – Updated with fewer overhangs, a stronger base, and expanded customization options.

Customizer Improvements

3MF export is now working for customized designs.

This is a big step for multicolor, multi-material, and multi-part designs because 3MF files are easier to bring into modern slicers with the parts organized correctly.

In Testing

• TPU zipper pulls with embedded hardware
• Custom text luggage tags
• Custom text plates
• Flower frog generators
• Containers with TPU hinges
• Customizable lamp globes

Next Up

May will focus on turning more workshop experiments into public releases, improving 3MF output, and continuing routine backend cleanup.

There are also a few summer-use designs in the queue, because something always seems to break once the weather gets warm.
