Join Loaf and expert cookery tutor Lap-fai Lee to learn how to make alkali noodles from scratch and use them in two classic Asian noodle dishes; Chinese dandanmian and Japanese ramen.
Join our founder Tom Baker for a Wholegrain Baking course at Loaf!
On this exciting course Tom will draw on his 15 years of baking experience, and share with you the joys of baking with wholemeal flour and using more whole grains in your home-baking. As well as all the practical hand-skills needed to handle doughs with a higher proportion of wholemeal in, Tom will help you to gain an understanding of the biology of grains (wheat, rye and spelt) and the value of using and eating whole grains in terms of both nutrition, economics and politics.
Sweet bakes available this week inculde an Almond Poppyseed Bundt, one White Chocolate Blondie with Raspberries and a Tiramisu Blondie.
For the fans of our vegan sweets we will have Flapjack Brownies, a Pecan & Caramel Brownie and two kinds of Crumble Jacks: One with Apricots and one with Cherry and Raspberry Marmelade from Jacky’s Pantry.
On Saturday the bakers will be making two sourdough specials:

Lunches are made fresh weekdays for 12 noon.
