We all miss Artefact and are very much looking forward to moving into our new premisses with our friends from Artefact and Bike Foundry.
In the meantime, its wondeful to think that we will still be having the Woodland Games back in Stirchley this Summer!
The Woodland Games 2024 Teams Sign Up is now officially open!
To sign your team up go to their website or email them at hipkissandgraney@outlook.com.
The Games themselves will be on Saturday 17th August!
Replacing unnecessary car journeys with an electric-cargo bike can save money, reduce traffic and air pollution and support better health. For £50 per month you can now hire an e-cargo bike, keep the bike at home for up to three months at a time and see how well it fits in with your daily routine.
Find out more information and book a bike here: www.birminghamgearshift.org
And because it’s just so important: Keep supporting our libraries and head to the Library Awareness Walk this Saturday 11th May if you can!
A consortium consisting of Stirchley Art Room, the Friends of Stirchley Library and Number 11 Arts are going to be holding the first in a series of Library Awareness Walks.
The walk will begin in Selly Oak, stop off at Stirchley, and finish in Druids Heath. There will be arts activities for all to get involved with along the way, including a banner-making workshop, a poetry-walk-maps workshop and readings and performances.
Sweets this week will be: A date & coffee cake, a lemon & poppy seed cake, a fruity crumblejack and the vegan biscoff brownie!
On Saturday the bakers will be making two sourdough specials:
Chilli, Lemon, Spring Onion, Garlic & Ginger
Pecan, Coffee, Raisin & Chocolate
No reservations - first come first served.
