This is the weekly bulletin from Loaf in Stirchley, with our specials, lunches and cookery school classes.

We’ll have plenty on the shelves all week, with lunches served from noon on weekdays.

Our opening hours are:
Wed - Fri: 12-6
Saturday: 8-1

Summer shutdown starts next week

After this Saturday we will be closed for a fortnight, re-opening on Wednesday 28th August.

August is our quietest month so we’re using this time to clear some holiday allowance and do essential maintenance ready for our busiest period in the autumn. So if you’re going to struggle without the good bread and have the freezer space, be sure and stock up this week!

If you know what you want please consider ordering up front as it helps us get the bake numbers right and avoid waste.

A chocolate cookie

So far the sweets shifts have planned:

  • Cherry & coconut blondie

  • Blueberry & peanut butter blondie

  • Chocolate & marmalade croissant pudding.

The Saturday sourdough specials are:

  • Chilli, lemon & oregano

  • Roast garlic & potato

No reservations - first come first served.

Wednesday

  • Curry: Tarka daal with sourdough (Ve)

Thursday

  • Ciabatta Sandwich: Roast Garlic Hummus, Heritage Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Red Onions, Lettuce (Ve) w/ Feta (optional) (V)

Friday

  • Curry: Roasted Bell Peppers, Aubergine & Chickpea w/ Sourdough (Ve)

  • Salt beef on challah bun

Wed - Fri

  • Sourdough Pizza: Mozzarella, Scamorza, Cherry Tomatoes & Basil on Tomato Base (V)

  • Ham and cheese croissant

  • Tomato, spinach and cheese croissant (V)

Wed – Sat:

  • Sausage rolls

  • Vegetable rolls (V)

Lunches are made fresh weekdays for 12 noon.

We run classes throughout the year (except August and December) and schedule new dates as soon as possible. You can sign up to alert lists for specific classes here.
