We were planning it for a while and finally we will be able to open our shop doors on Tuesdays again.
Tuesday, 4th of February (so next week already!) will be the first time when we are open on Tuesdays from lunch time till 6pm - and our shelves and displays will be filled with most of our regular goodies.
What we won’t have on those days will be croissants, Pain au Chocolate and the filled savoury croissants, but our cakes, sweet buns and lunches like the Daal will hopefully motivate you to pay us a visit.
Pre-orders will be open as usual from Saturday afternoon and the cut-off time for Tuesdays will be Monday 10am.
We are very excited and hope you come around!
You maybe heard the sad news already, but the Stirchley Art Room CIC, who have been running free art sessions for adults in Stirchley Library since 2019 have been turned down once again for funding.
Currently they run three daytime sessions and one evening session per week with approximately 60 individuals per week attending the club. Each session is run by a qualified art teacher with support from a specialist workshop assistant. They are for people of all abilities, from professionals to beginners, and adults of all ages and backgrounds come along for all sorts of reasons - friendship, personal development, well-being and mental health, and artistic development.
Making these sessions, equipment, materials, and guidance free of charge is an important part of their mission to make art experience accessible for everyone.
Despite their best efforts to secure repeat funding, the Thursday evening session is currently unfunded and that’s why the club is facing closure on those evenings. This evening art club is especially important for those who can’t make the daytime sessions due to work, childcare, and other reasons.
So please, if you can support their fundraiser!

Soup: Moroccan spiced lentil, aubergine, carrot, chickpea (Ve) - Served with focaccia & optional yoghurt
Curry: Caribbean spiced butternut squash, butter bean, spinach w/sourdough (Ve)
Salt beef on challah bun
Sourdough Pizza: Veggie N’duja, kale, basil & mozzarella (V)
Ham and cheese croissant
Rocket pesto and cheese croissant (V)
Sausage rolls
Vegetable rolls (V)
Lunches are made fresh weekdays for 12 noon.
