The format will be an informal conversation with optional updates. If you are looking to set up a worker or housing co-op, feel free to bring questions along.
We welcome newcomers, those who are co-op curious or want to learn more. No need to participate, you can just observe.
There are usually snacks, tea and coffee, and children are welcome.
Hope to see you there!
Mela Guitar Quartet - Do you recognise a familiar face?
You might know Zahrah Hutton from our shop, but outside Loaf she is a classical guitarist! In 2019 Zahrah was awarded a scholarship to study classical guitar at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Mark Ashford. In 2023 she joined the Mela Guitar Quartet who will release their new album on Friday.
The album is titled 'Overtures & Dances', and is all original arrangements. It's mostly Romantic/Impressionist orchestral and piano music tied together by themes of storytelling and fairytales, and features the music from the film My Neighbour Totoro.
The quartet appeared on BBC Radio 3 In Tune on Friday, playing three tracks from the album.
If you want to buy the album or only stream the music to support them you can purchase the CD or download here.
