We're doing Hot Cross Buns for one more week! And if there are any leftovers we'll be turning them into rebaked Almond creme filled Hot Cross Buns for Saturday!
The sweets shift are making two lemon cakes on top of the usual blondies and brownies: A Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt and an Italian Ciambellone.
On Saturday the bakers will be making two sourdough specials:
Fermented rye porridge
Chilli and cheese
No reservations - first come first served.
We've released dates for cookery school classes in May (and one in June). Scroll down for details and links to book.
We now stock coffee beans from Hundred House, a lovely roaster in Craven Arms, Shropshire who we used to stock pre-pandemic and are delighted to have back on the shelves.
We have a new butter supplier, Estate Dairy, which the bakers are loving using in our pastries. They also do a 250g roll which we have for sale in the shop fridge. We hope you like it as much as we do!
We are currently looking for a new egg supplier. Thank you for your patience.

Lunches are made fresh weekdays for 12 noon.
