Location: Cotteridge Park
CoCoMAD is Cotteridge Park’s vibrant local festival, created by Friends of Cotteridge Park, bringing the community together through music, creativity, science, food, and more. Everyone is welcome—ticket-free, thanks to collective donations and local sponsorship.
Live Music & Showcases: throughout the afternoon and into the evening
CircusMASH: running aerial and circus workshops all day
CoCoMAD Scientists: interactive science experiments, ideal for curious kids
Community Stalls & Food Vendors: featuring some of Birmingham’s best makers, artists and artisans, as well as street food vendors and local breweries
No parking on-site: please walk, cycle, or use public transport
Dr Bike from (our soon to be next door neighbour 😀) Birmingham Bike Foundry will be at the tennis courts offering basic repairs and adjustments for cyclists
CoCoMAD costs around £34,000 to stage; if every visitor donates just £3, it covers the full cost
You can donate via JustGiving beforehand or on the day — just look out for card readers and donation buckets
The festival is entirely run by volunteers so…
Volunteer: help with set-up, litter collection, or general festival spirit by signing up on the Cotteridge Park site
Shout‑outs from the stage: celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or say thanks—email your message to info@cotteridgepark.org.uk in advance
CoCoMAD is not just an event—it’s our local festival, celebrating creativity, sustainability, and togetherness.
Visit cotteridgepark.org.uk for the full programme and to find volunteer/donation links. Spread the word!
