This is the weekly-ish bulletin from Loaf in Stirchley, with our specials, lunches and cookery school classes.

We’ll have plenty on the shelves all week, with lunches served from noon on weekdays.

Our opening hours are:
Tue - Fri: 12-6
Saturday: 8-1

Some of the lucky ones among you already had the chance to get your hands on our Hot Cross buns during the last couple of weeks. Our bakers are doing some tests at the moment to get us ready for the soon to start Easter season (yes we know - others started to sell them a few weeks after Christmas, but we try to keep them special).

Keep an eye out later this week if you can’t wait until next Tuesday (25th March) when we will officially start to sell our Hot Cross Buns. They will be ready for pre-order in our online shop as usual from Saturday afternoons for the following week.

Shop shelves restocked with all the good local products

During the last couple of weeks we’ve got new deliveries from Jacky’s Pantry, Pip’s Hot Sauce, Arden Forest Honey, Quinton Meadows Honey and Rae Valley Apiary. The shelves in the shop are looking good again.

Marshall&Co will bring their chocolate this week too!

Dumplings!

Next Dumpling course with Lap on 26th March!

Join Loaf and expert cookery tutor Lap-fai Lee for a hands-on session of Dumpling making.

You will be making dumplings from scratch and then boiling, deep frying or pan frying them. Lap will tutor you through making the dough and preparing vegetarian and pork dumplings. You’ll also make crispy, deep fried dim sum style wontons (pork & prawn) and Sichuan wontons (lamb).

The next class at Loaf is scheduled for Wednesday 26th March 6.30-9.30pm. Look here for more details and bookings.

Wed - Fri

  • Ham and cheese croissant

  • Vegetarian croissant (V)

Wed – Sat:

  • Sausage rolls

  • Vegetable rolls (V)

Lunches are made fresh weekdays for 12 noon.

We run classes throughout the year (except August and December) and schedule new dates as soon as possible. You can sign up to alert lists for specific classes here.

Our vouchers can be purchased in any value you like for redemption against future bookings. Vouchers purchased online will give you a downloadable pdf which can be emailed to the recipient directly, or to you for printing and giving to them by hand. Alternatively you can come to us and buy vouchers in the shop.
