The Breadcrumbs

🥖 Unfortunately we won’t be at Stirchley Community Market this Saturday. Due to demand outstripping available space they’ve decided, quite rightly, to give as many local makers and traders a chance to have a stall so we’re waiting our turn. Check out the spring lineup here and make sure you pop along, after picking up your bread from us of course!

🥖 York Road Supplies, the legendary hardware store in Kings Heath, is turning into a community-run co-operative on the retirement of it’s legendary owner Jon. If you’re interested in helping guide it’s future you can become a member and they’ll be issuing community shares soon. More info here.

🥖 Slightly closer to home, the Dads Lane Community Association have nearly finished renovating the building on the corner of Pineapple and Cambridge Roads, which those living nearby will know as the polling station. It’s been a massive effort from volunteers across the community and it’ll be awesome to see what they’ve achieved.
