Hello everyone,

A HUGE thanks to everyone for coming to see us at Verbena the last weeks and it was so good to see so many of you at the Stirchley Community Market last Saturday as well!

We are really grateful we could join the market on short notice and can only encourage everyone who is thinking to give them a hand at their next market in June as a volunteer to do so. Here is more information about volunteering at the market.

We are pleased to confirm that we will be back again at Verbena next week on Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday!

Update About SCD

There are no new updates to share about the new building at this point, but everyone is committed to get all of us into the building. Please keep also supporting Birmingham Bike Foundry, Artefact and the whole Stirchley Co-operative Development to get us through this time.

Many people, businesses and organisations (so far 178 in numbers!) have shared supporting statements about the SCD to what SCD means to them. A few of those you can find here and on Instagram. It’s very encouraging for the people who have been working on this project since over eight years to read through all your comments. Thank you!

In the meantime, we just want to say a huge thank you for the incredible support you’ve shown us through our crowdfunder since this situation came to light. We really couldn’t be riding this very unsteady wave without all of your support!
