Updates and Changes

Huge thanks to Fernando for covering the restocking for two weeks while we were traveling!

We finally exhausted our supply of thermal-weight wool-blend socks, and unfortunately, we’ve been unable to restock them; the supplier doesn’t seem to offer them anymore. We’ve switched to a lighter-weight sock which will be more than sufficient for the summer, but we’ll keep looking for thicker options for when the winter comes. At the end of the day, the most critical feature for socks is being fresh socks, but thicker socks are pleasant (both for long walks and for colder months).

Monthly Usage

This month, we had 37 outgoing completed calls made from our Futel phone, as well as 44, 31, and 449 calls made from our Connections phones at the Dunlap Seattle Community Fridge (SCF) site, Estelita’s Library SCF site, and Cafe Red site, respectively. The Cafe Red phone continues to see extraordinary use; it’s becoming one of the most heavily-used Futel phones, though it still has just a fraction of the traffic of Futel’s most-used phone (at Street Roots).

Our COGGA for this month is $895.25, not including naloxone, condoms, or lubricants (all of which are provided by outside groups at no cost to us).
