This might be one of the most Cohen-esque songs I've ever written. It's also possibly one of the saddest songs I've ever written. And maybe one of the most beautiful? idk, I have a skewed frame of reference for my own work, but I'm pretty happy with how this came out.

I have one more christmas song to send you this month, and then I'll be taking a break in January & rethinking the shape of this newsletter. It's been a whole year since I started this lil project! thank you for coming on the journey with me.
