I had a pumpkin spice smoothie on Friday, and felt gleefully basic as I ordered and consumed it. Listen! I am a millennial white lady, and I'm not immune to a flavor profile that was engineered specifically for me.

Later that day, I watched Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) for the first time with some friends and had an absolute and unmitigated GREAT TIME. The practical effects were A++, the story was unhinged (her mother is a straight-up murderer??! the fuck?), the acting was full of ~gestures~. I cannot recommend it enough.
