Idaho shipments jumped 183.5% week over week to 121 units (10,000-lb loads), 45% above the seasonal average. Volume moved hard into the new-crop window without pulling FOBs back toward historical norms.

• Washington exports rose 115.2% week over week to 81 units (10,000-lb loads), 33% above the 5-year median, per USDA movement reports.
• Mexico imports crossed 212 units (10,000-lb loads, week of August 6), up 43% on the week and 98% above the 5-year median, per USDA border-crossing movement reports.
• New Mexico yellow jumbo, 50-lb sacks, was quoted at mostly $18.00-20.00 per USDA shipping-point reports as of August 7.
• California yellow jumbo, 50-lb sacks, was quoted at mostly $15.00 per USDA shipping-point reports as of August 7. California shipments were flat on the week at 533 units (10,000-lb loads), 78% above the 5-year median.
• Washington onion shipments rose 38% on the week to 318 units (10,000-lb loads), 58% above the 5-year median, per USDA movement reports. The Washington yellow jumbo quote of $25.00, 40-lb cartons, is from July 31 and is 10 days old at publication.
• Georgia yellow jumbo, 40-lb cartons, was quoted at mostly $23.00-24.00 per USDA shipping-point reports as of August 7, the highest domestic jumbo FOB in the current report.
