KNIGHTSFOIL SCRIPTORIUM IV ✤ June Part II 2026

This issue is a shorter one, but includes a surprise new event, and another Pride Month retrospective!

✤ ART ✤

I have been insanely busy behind the scenes, so here’s another retrospective of some of my past queer art! Among other things, I was able to see one of my favorite doom metal bands live for the first time.

True Love’s Kiss is my take on lesbian Sleeping Beauty, featuring my character from Knight of the Brambles, and inspired by the Four of Swords tarot card. Look closely and you can find four swords in the image…

All Garbed In Green is another of my pieces based on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It depicts the moment when the Green Knight enters King Arthur’s Christmas feast. Gawain (right corner) and ladies of the court behold his entry. Handlettered text from the original poem at the bottom translates as “151: And all garbed in green this giant and his gear”.

✤ UTAH PRIDE ✤

The SCRIPTORIUM is delighted to report that Utah Pride was an absolute success! I love getting to see our community in person, and it’s always so artistically inspiring for me.

The Vampire Lestat print was a popular choice. Unsurprising, given the new season released during the event. I was also amazed at the popularity of B-grade prints ($470 worth!!!). These are prints with little imperfections, printing issues, damage, etc sold at a small discount. I don’t feel right charging full price for them, and I like to offer a variety of price ranges for people on a budget.

The tent worked beautifully, and really only needs a few small tweaks and patch jobs now.

Surprise! SLC Pride took me off their waitlist last minute. Expect to see me there this weekend. Getting my printer to work was a nightmare this last while, so some prints are extremely low stock. Come early if you have your heart set on anything!
