So I unintentionally took an extended break from writing. A creative block, depression, life, aesthetically pleasing fingernails and more (!) all got in the way of content.

However, in an effort to not give up on this, here I am.

I was once told that I’d quit everything that I had ever started and this has come to be “not a prediction, but a spoiler.” In fact, this is an accusation that’s been leveled against me by many people. And they aren’t wrong. Historically, I have been quick to retreat when times got tough. But I think it’s time (at my big ripe old age) to flip the script.

Instead of rolling over and admitting defeat, I acknowledge the stumbling block. And then, I can maneuver around it.

I’ve slayed dragons that would have burned lesser people alive.

I honestly don’t give myself enough credit sometimes.
