the garden gate, vol. 7 🌿

a quick word from the gardener
This week got a little existential, ya’ll.
It was one of those stretches where the smallest things could send me spiraling — questions about identity, purpose, the future.
I needed two things:
My sword: the Logos and Rhema Word of God, slicing through all the noise.
And a long nap.
I needed to remember that feelings aren’t facts — but they are still worth listening to. This week, they were telling me: tend to your body.
Maybe that’s the invitation for all of us right now — to notice what our bodies are saying, and what our spirits are thirsty for.
To hold both the sword and the pillow.
notes to explore:
the story of how I’ve come to name myself in faith after years of wrestling, wondering, and holding mystery.
the eternal appetite of infancy — exploring the idea that the king of the universe may be younger than us
my flower crown — the gift He weaves for me in the quiet place.

today’s invitation
Be childlike.
What if we let our silly out more often — even shouted for joy?
What if we breathed deep into our dependence and found it was freedom?
Children don’t carry the weight of the world on their shoulders.
They live open-eyed, curious, quick to run into the arms that love them.
Could you let yourselves be like that? Full of wonder. Ready to play. Unhurried and unproductive without shame. Trusting your Father enough to leave cynicism behind.
- Luke 18:16
Thank you for going down the path with me today. If this is your first time, I encourage you to check out this note explaining the idea of the digital garden and what's up with the weird title 😄.
Peace to you! ✌️
