A postcard from Budapest
Hello, Friend.
I just got back from a wonderful long weekend in Budapest and... unfortunately, I also brought home laryngitis and pharyngitis. Feeling a little miserable, a little tired, and very much in need of Earl Grey, I thought I'd write you this short note instead.
I wanted to send you a postcard from my journey. I picked this one especially for you, and I hope you'll enjoy this tiny piece of Budapest.
Hello from Budapest!
I'm writing this from a city full of beautiful buildings, trams, good coffee, and far more sunshine than I expected. Between all the excitement of Formula 1 (Go Cadillac!), I still managed to steal quiet moments with a book (or two), a cup of tea, and simply looking around.
I hope, wherever you're reading this, you've found a little moment of peace today too.
— Jules
P.S.
More about the Formula 1 weekend will find its way into the August letter, but your resident bookish gremlin couldn't resist sharing one small victory: over those few days at the Hungaroring, I somehow managed to finish two books.
831 pages.
Not a bad reading weekend, if you ask me.
