Some Trans Happenings in LA!
Free game night Sunday + Griffin Kelly is a horse!

Hello friend! Just one more month til pride, I hope you’re resting! We have some opportunities for you to hang out with trans people in Los Angeles this month!
Game Night: Join the Joy Who Lived community for a free Game Night this Saturday, May 2 at Geeky Teas in Burbank! They have nicely donated a private game room to our community and we have lots of space. You can just show up, or of course RSVP/invite friends using the partiful.

Survey: Do you think we should do more events? Think we should try to do Joy Who Lived again? We would love for you to fill out this survey about your experience! That helps us so much.
Workshop: March 16, join KC McGeorge (from Dimension 20 and Twenty-sided Tavern) for a model-making workshop!

Community Happenings:
HORSE PLAY: WE SAW A GREAT PLAY AND YOU SHOULD SEE IT!

I simply must insist that you go see JWL community member Griffin Kelly play a horse in the play “For Want Of A Horse,” by trans playwright Olivia Dufault in Atwater Village. There are $15 tickets on Mondays! Pretty please see this show!
Creative Community:
Joy Who Lived community member Lisa-Skye is launching the Los Angeles Gender Expansive Creatives Collective (LAGECC), a new organization and is looking for members! Here's the info: LAGECC is devoted to fostering and creating good art through cross-pollination of artistic disciplines. It's a chance to create, up-skill, collaborate and have your work seen. Expect workshops, exhibitions, performances, festivals and other fun happenings. Absolute beginners, emerging artists, mid-career or established, we're a place for trans and gender non-conforming artists to grow and flourish. LAGECC is an egalitarian, intersectional, trans* organization. We are fueled by kindness, mutual aid, efficiency and fun. Get amongst it by filling out this form!
Thank you friend, and have a great day!
