June has been the month of atproto for me. After discovering the Bluesky standard.site integration adding special frames for link preview cards, I went down that rabbit hole and you can see the result in some of the blog posts of this month.

On top of that I kicked off an open source project for syncing blogs to atproto called annot.at, with the code appropriately hosted on Tangled. I also started writing writing a bit of a devlog for that project, with more frequent little updates on features and code challenges, check it out at blog.annot.at.

It was also the month of "discovering" using LLMs as programming books. This has been a great way for me to reconnect with the part of coding I really enjoy, actually engaging with the code and understanding it, while still leveraging LLMs where they're useful.

Automatically syncing your blog to atproto and standard.site - Sharing some thoughts on automating publishing to atproto and the annot.at project.

Appreciation for the small web - Sharing some links and general thoughts on the small web movement, it's genuinely delightful.

Treating LLMs as programming books - This may sound weird, but it's been my biggest AI-related discovery lately. Instead of having the agent write the code for you, it shows you code and you type it out. The LLM helps you get going, but you're engaging with every line of code.

Publishing your blog to standard.site in Elixir - I've been spending more and more time playing around with atproto projects, including getting my blog published to atproto using standard.site.

Generating OG images in Elixir - Write-up on how I set up Open Graph images for sharing previews on my blog, including a little library for you to add previews to your blog!
