5 SEO distractions 4 U!
I know there's a lot going on in SEO land right now.
It can feel overwhelming.
I get it. I'm also looking at SEO with one eyebrow raised.
From AI to ChatGPT and Bard to Google SGE and GA4... it's a lot to take in!
So here's a few things to distract you from the madness:
Bard now supports Arabic (amongst a bunch of other languages just recently announced). I was talking to some local SEOs about ChatGPT and Bard and Arabic language support. Early reports are that Bard is much better at handling Arabic than ChatGPT. Good to know, but trust me: get your content written by a native Arabic speaker first! (so much nuance with Arabic that only humans can relay!)
I recently tried to get content rewritten in Bard and it did a terrible job (repeated itself and ended up with unusable content). I was in a rush and wanted to see if Bard could help me out. Plot twist: it didn't. I just chugged down a shot of coffee and got to work doing it myself. I'm sure with more time on hand and better prompts, it could have done a decent job.
I have audited about 10 new sites in the past 2 weeks and they're all slow, lacking content and many look like a botched surgery job. Please email me and ask for help to avoid launching a site that looks like it was run over by a truck repeatedly.
Cost of living is nuts right now and to make it worse, my paid media friends are seeing increased CPCs even though they've not done anything to their campaigns to warrant this. My solution? Invest heavily in SEO instead. It's always the more affordable, ROI positive option. Tell this to everyone you know!
I decided to pull the trigger and get an SEO meetup group going in Dubai. It's been a long time coming (10 years to be exact) and it's called... Dubai SEO Club. We're still getting people together (we're getting lots of people from OUTSIDE of Dubai joining the group chat!). Want to be in? Hit me up with your number and I'll add you on WhatsApp.
That's it for the week.
What SEO tingz should I talk about next week?
Peace,
Jaaved
