The previous newsletter was Clarity channels energy and our Community Call last Sunday was titled "Holding Care" (inspired by Dyadic Unfolding).
Last week I spoke of clarity, clarity of knowing, and knowing truth. Clarity is connection to truth.
And yet I still surprised myself a few days later, when I walked away from an IS Community session (go check out Daniel's Dyadic Unfolding description for the taste) with a clear message (from the universe, from truth itself?) of "be more true".
Be more true. As though the truth were something that one could become, could not just hold it but be it. And ya know, that could be functionally (or even literally, from a Values Realism lens) right! It feels useful and good to invite myself to inhabit truth, to be a conduit of truth throughout my whole being - to be in right relationship in all relationships.
This doesn't mean knowing everything - quite the opposite, it means being more clear about what I know and don't know, including when I don't know even that! So, I could point to awareness as truth, and then likewise to acceptance as relationship to truth. And even so it is integrity which really resonates with "be more true". Seeing what is, welcoming what is, flow into being true, right relationship flowing into any/all acts.
"Trust what is true" was the last bit that landed with me that day. Two senses apply: the felt sense of contact with truth, and the outcomes of being guided by truth. Yes, there's something that contact with truth feels like in our bodies: clarity! And it's the second sense which I need a reminder of: that there's something I can trust even on the outcome side. If I shy away from truth in order to produce/manage a less risky or scary outcome, I fool myself!
Leaning into truth, even when it lays past layers of awkwardness or social norms, keeps producing better outcomes even on the dimensions I fear I'm sacrificing in order to serve truth. Relationships get deepened rather than abandoned. Energy is found and increased rather than drained. Thus I'm learning to follow what is true, what is real, what is already happening - and trust in the outcomes that will follow.
May you be more true, in love, as you are so called.
Cheers,
James
