Anthropic IPO at 82%, its $4T valuation at 10%

Tuesday, August 25, 2026 · Edition 1

The board's loudest contradiction lives inside one company. The crowd has moved Anthropic's IPO to near-certain while pricing its valuation as a long shot. Elsewhere, two markets absorbed enormous flow without moving a cent, and Apple quietly fell out of the top spot in the pecking order.

⚙️ Tech

Will Anthropic IPO by October 31, 2026?

At 82%, an Anthropic IPO by October 31 is the second-biggest mover on the board, up 31.5 points in a month. Sit that next to the $4T valuation market at 10.4% and the tension is direct: the crowd heavily favors the listing arriving while treating a $4T mark as unlikely. An IPO priced as near-inevitable, at a valuation the same board doubts. Both prices can't be casually true.

→ Polymarket

Will Anthropic's valuation hit (HIGH) $4.0T by December 31?

10.4%, up just 5.5 points in a month, yet volume is running 3.1x its weekly average. The $4T mark trades at roughly one-eighth the odds of the IPO itself. Whatever is being priced here, it isn't conviction that the number and the listing arrive together.

→ Polymarket

Will Apple be the largest company in the world by market cap on August 31?

3.3%, down 21 points in a month. That makes Apple the third-biggest faller on the board, and the sharpest repricing here outside the Israel-Iran ceasefire. With the resolution date days away, the board has moved from treating Apple's top spot as merely doubtful to all but ruled out.

→ Polymarket

Does Ox Alpha belong to Zhipu AI (Z.ai)?

A stealth reasoning model surfaced on OpenRouter on August 20 with no confirmed developer, and the board already leans 89.8% toward China's Zhipu AI. Volume is 7x its weekly average, unsurprising for a market this fresh. A rare real-time attribution puzzle, priced with more certainty than most things that appeared five days ago.

🌍 Geopolitics

Israel x Iran ceasefire continues through August 31?

97.3%, and the biggest monthly mover on the entire board, up 37.75 points. That surge is the point: a question the board treated as a coin-flip a month ago is now priced as all but settled with days to run. It's also the backdrop that makes the regime-fall flow below look strange.

→ Polymarket

Will the Iranian regime fall before 2027?

7.5%, and not a cent of movement, despite $361K trading in 24 hours against an ~$11K daily baseline. That is roughly thirty days of normal flow in one session with a flat price. Set against a ceasefire the board calls all but certain, one market says the calm holds and the other just saw its heaviest activity in a month land on the opposite risk.

→ Polymarket

NATO x Russia military clash by December 31, 2026?

25.5%, roughly one in four, and steady, down two points on the month. The most consequential tail on the board is also one of its calmest prices, holding a quarter-odds while the regime-fall market next door churns.

→ Polymarket

📈 Crypto

Will Bitcoin dip to $45,000 by December 31, 2026?

9.5%, down 16 points in a month, with volume 2.3x its weekly average and second-most-traded on the board. A deep crash back to $45K has gone from a plausible tail to a small one, and the flow arrived as the price was falling rather than defending it.

→ Polymarket

🗳️ Politics

Will Édouard Philippe win the 2027 French presidential election?

24.5%, unchanged, while $35K traded against an ~$3K daily baseline. Like the Iranian regime market, this is heavy flow that left the price exactly where it found it. The board's two flat-price, high-volume markets sit an ocean apart in subject and identical in behavior.

→ Polymarket

The board's sharpest signals came in two flavors this edition: a price that swung 37 points and a pair that refused to move under thirty-times-normal flow. Certainty and stubbornness, and it isn't obvious which one is telling you more.
