Hey there! Didn’t September just fly by?? I am always happy to be in Oct-Dec (the best stretch of time of the year imo) but I am shocked we are here already.

I guess time flies when you have a book launch!

I don’t have much new to share!

GO-MAN VS THE STAR DRAGON IS OUT NOW

Déjà vu right? Look I know I posted about this last time but it’s not every day you have a new book out! I am so proud of Go-Man vs. the Star Dragon and I have had some really nice feedback already about it.

Also since last email, the book has come out in the UK. This launch has been a little more tricky because there were a lot of late preorders. Have you got yours yet? One big issue has been that the UK is not having any hardbacks printed over here. You can still get them, but they take longer to ship from the US. I am sorry if this has effected you. I have heard the are speeding up but please let me know if you still don’t have yours.

UK SIGNING TOUR CONTINUES

I did manage to launch the book in Leeds, Bristol and London though and that was a lot of fun. Each event was brilliant!

But the tour is not over. This month I will be at LONDON MCM COMIC CON with tickets selling fast!

The very next week (the final weekend of the year) I will be at the Brighton Illustration Fair.

And then on the 14th and 15th of November, I’ll be ending my conventions for the year as I always do with Thought Bubble.

Finally, this is very far in the future, but my WELSH FANS might want to keep the 22nd and 23rd of April free.

SUPER MARIO MOMENT CONTINUES

My Mario podcast continues on with two new episodes since my last email! Would really appreciate it if you watched or listened on your podcast app of choice.

OTHER PODCAST APPEARANCES

However, I have been appearing on many other podcasts lately!

Firstly, if you have read Go-Man vs the Star Dragon already and want to hear me do a full deep-dive, spoiler-filled discussion, I was a guest on a bonus episode of my favourite kaiju podcast Skreeonk talking all about it in detail!

Next I was a guest on a few other podcasts, the X-Files podcast Little Dead Aliens (episode 18) and the Doctor Who podcast Across the Whoniverse, so if you are into either of those shows, check them out! I have linked to youtube videos but they too are available on all podcast apps.

And finally, I was a guest on something truly unique. What If World is a totally improvised narrative podcast for kids where the host Eric creates amazing and bizarre stories based on the kid audience’s questions! We of course did a story about kaiju. It’s MAD but quite fun. Check it out here or again, on all your podcast apps.

Here’s a teaser below:

PATREON

And finally, I am going to plug my Patreon. If I am being honest, times are looking to be a little tough soon as we have discovered that my flat is sinking or twisting or SOMETHING. The cracks are cracking. And we don’t know how much it’ll take to fix it. So I may be opening up commissions or begging for some donations at some point. But for now, subscribing to my patreon would be really appreciated. You can see exclusive art and writing for many of my projects, old, future or cancelled. It’s a good time!

Anyway, sorry for the slightly low-key update. It’s been a busy time but there’s not much new to announce. Lots of irons in fires and exciting developments coming soon, promise!

Talk soon,
