Next month is the month of GO-MAN VS THE STAR DRAGON! Volume Two of the award-winning, all-ages GO-MAN series and if I am being honest, I am more excited about this book than the first one coming out. GO-MAN 1 and 2 were originally pitched as one book, so I have been waiting for you to read these twists and turns for years!

But when Tobi’s dad loses his job to Go-Man, Tobi’s classmate’s secret gets exposed, and Grace’s jealousy of her best friend living her dreams gets too much… things are about to get even more complicated!

SEQUENTIAL SCOTLAND

THOUGHT BUBBLE

And just announced at time of writing, I will be a special guest at Thought Bubble 20!! on 14th and 15th November 2026.

If you’ve never heard of Thought Bubble, I can guarantee it is absolutely worth going, even if you live a few hours away. Harrogate is a very pretty town and the convention brings together so many of the industry heavy hitters. I literally save up all my money for this con and buy so many prints and books. You’ll love it.

GO-MAN CARDS

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll hopefully have seen me posting some of these Pokémon-inspired Go-Man Trading Card mockups. They’re not real… yet?

I’d love to make this game a reality but it would be a bit of an undertaking and I want to gauge interest. They’re fun to make but I can’t tell if they’re as fun for other people as they are for me.

Here’s a look at one of the new monsters in Volume 2, but they’re actually one of the first kaiju I ever designed when I first started getting into the genre as a teen.

POKEMON ART

Another piece of art of mine I want to highlight is my Hoenn Pokémon Trainers art! It was super fun but a lot more time consuming than my Kanto and Johto art (also available on my Instagram).

It made me consider doing commissions in this style? Just little chibi characters with your fave Pokémon or pet or something. Would any of you be interested?

SUPER MARIO MOMENT SEASON 4

Speaking of Nintendo games, my Super Mario podcast is back with Season 4! Our episodes are now fortnightly but we are back to covering the games. However, this season we are focussing a little more on the edges of the Mario multiverse with episodes on Yoshi’s Island, Luigi’s Mansion, Bowser’s Inside Store and the Donkey Kong Country cartoon series.

But our first episode, out now, is a look back at all of Nintendo’s Mario anniversaries, including the current 40th and the infamous Year of Luigi.
