Greenwich Pulse: Monday, May 18
Good morning, Greenwich.
The big news landed Saturday: Dave Matthews is headlining the Greenwich Town Party this Saturday at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. Tickets are already the most-discussed topic on the Greenwich subreddit. Beyond that, the weekend was full of the kind of spring that makes mid-May in this town feel earned. Farmers market opened in Horseneck. The handbell choirs played the Point. George Washington's actual inauguration Bible sat in the Library's Jewel Room for an afternoon.
Here's what's in this week's Pulse:
- Dave Matthews headlines Town Party this Saturday
- Saks Fifth Avenue closing two Greenwich-area stores
- Rescued big cat art opens at Greenwich Arts Council Wednesday
- Mianus River fishway opens for the season
Best for families this week: Scouting America kickoff at Camp Seton tonight and the Fishway Open House on Wednesday.
